Enter your part number on the back of your fob to ensure you get the correct case

This is the first one that came up on eBay "hhr fob" $4.93 US seller.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/11305752647...OmCYQ&LH_BIN=1

It does not matter how many buttons on the case, the PCB has 4 pad spots; I had a fob case with all 6 (for Panel) that worked fine just 2 buttons that did nothing.

Yeah, eBay is out to screwup the world with good prices an 10 day delivery and quick easy returns. Scary!
Buy one from your local GM dealer, they offer high prices and no support, if it isn't in stock they charge you shipping to store.
Even if they sent a piece of junk, it is just a case to hold the expensive part, and you are out $5 for a week. At that price I bet they don't even want a return if you complain. I have got 2 free computer motherboards from mild complaining.
There are non-scary ways to pay for the extraordinarily paranoid.
Posting on a forum on the internet is more dangerous than buying on eBay if you read the advertisement.

You can get a full fob on Amazon for around $10, then pay for programming.
You can go to your local auto parts palace and get the Dorman fob with programming module for around $50. Most of them also sell empty cases, just ask.

You might test the green board to make sure it wasn't ruined in the mishap before you buy a new case. Just jump the contacts with a penny.

very expensive...
prohibitively expensive!
guys you need aliexpress,
there are more of these covers and key chains than shjt behind the bath-house,
rubber and silicone, just a case from a key fob or a key fob assembly, various shapes and a different number of buttons.
You can buy a new key fob, you can buy a new case, but keep the internal electronics.
3 - 12 bucks a piece + free shipping.
Here are the first ones that came to hands:

my PC shows in Russian (I'm in Russia), but I know that the USA is also in the field of activity

You would not believe the number of Americans that are scared of eBay, mention AliExpress to them and they might die
