key fobs & tpms
#11
I've only had car since 1st week of dec 2016. Fob hasn't worked for me. Had to get cel light fixed first. I"ll check those codes. And the dic. Snapon is the scantool my mechanic has but again we are old car nuts so he may not be totally knowledgable on it. I only recently got an HEI for my 68 cutlass and thats about as hi tech as I am. Now I have no use for my dwell/tach? I have some things to check on the HHR now. I"ll let you know what I find (or have more questions). Thanks alot.

Thank you very much for this info. I dont think "tire learn" comes up on the dic. I saw in manual to do it with the fob, but mine dont work. Got some things to check & look into. There is " discount tire" stores here also so I can check out what that other reply said. THANKS AGAIN!!!

Well there is no AP3 on the glove box sticker so that explains why fob wont work or program. A little ticked that I got took. And it does have the code UJM on that glove box sticker so I will keep that in mind when I get somebody to try to fix the TPMS. Thanks again for your help. Watch for more from me.?

Your guys SnapOn may be able to do those Tech2 procedures, depends on the computer he has.
Open your hood and look at the hood latch; if there are wires attached to it then you do have remote start. 2010 was an odd year, and my shop manual gives some odd information.
GoOgle tells me that UJM means you need a Tech2 or equivalent to relearn.

That thingie is the front impact sensor.
There is another type of relearn tool that good tire shops might have. It reads the number of the sensor in the tire then insert the numbers into the RCDLR in the correct positions.
I am still puzzled by the remote door entry, that should work if the fob is matched. As far as I've heard all HHRs have RKE. You may be able to pull the headliner down enough to actually see the RCDLR under that bump by the rearview mirror.
You might check fuse #23 marked RDO on the BCM, that is for the RCDLR.

Hood liner has impressions for visors that create a hump in the middle but not like something could be in there. Besides I thought AP3 meant for remote option ? Or is that for remote start? I did check that fuse cause I thought it was for radio.
