My old 2006 Trailblazer EXT LT had "leather" seats in them. While they might be real leather seats, I always thought that they were terrible quality. I had my driver side seat replaced at round 6000 miles due to flacking and peeling (the seat was so bad that the dealer didn't even put up a fight, which surprised me). After the dealer replaced the defective seat cover, the flacking did not return, but the bunching started to appear. I was never concerned with the bunching, but the peeling/flacking issues turned me off big time. After this experience with leather, which I had always been a huge fan of, I will never have leather in a vehicle again. Hense the LS that I bought. Even our Cobalt LT is leather-free.

Besides, I got tried of my partner about the seats being hot in the summer and and cold in the winter. However, we both miss the heated option.
