Unhappy Low oil, no knock short drive

I scraped bottom of engine upon entering open gate. Heard it but didn't feel anything. Next day took off, went less than a block, stop sign, engine died. Restarted but engine ran funny (like reduced power. Died again. Started again, same reduced power and died. Tried to start again, just solenoid click. Towed home. Checked under the hood found no oil on the dip stick. Added oil, checked level, no oil. Checked under my feet, oil everywhere. found hole the size of a small dime. Replaced pan, added oil to correct level, just solenoid click. Tomorrow, I guess I'll see if engine will turn over with a wrench.

The crankshaft bolt is a 21 mm but a 7/8 is close. Only turn the crankshaft clockwise, to avoid skipping a tooth on the timing chain or over tensioning the balance shaft chain

Tried to turn clockwise with 18" 1/2 ratchet (has been a good breaker bar), no dice.... I guess it's a frozen as it should be with no oil.

Did that thing make a considerable noise before finally stalling or more likely seized.

Guess you won't be needing that oil pan bolt anymore...

Wow, neighbor drove her car 6 miles to work on a rear flat tire.. How she never saw the warning lights on dash &/ or the feel. I could see the rubber marks from their house to her work..
Where I went to throw on her spare..

not really, kibd of a reduced power 'purring ' type of noise and just died. Started, made a U turn to head home, 'purred', died. Then just solenoid click when trying to start.
