lowering kit 2010 SS

Does any one have any experience with their 2010 SS and installing a lowering kit and sway bars? I am considering lowering the HHr and adding sway bars. Will the stock tires rub or interfere in any way with any body part of the vehicle? If you have installed lowering kits and sway bars on your 2010 SS - has it been a good or bad experience, etc? Thanks

It will void your warranty.

Void what warranty? Suspension parts possibly, that's about it. I have Goldline Gen 1 lowering springs on my SS. I know others have done more. No rubbing or interference for me btw. Looks a lot better, rides a lot rougher with the springs I have.

Pedders lowering springs are great, little expensive but worth it. Goldlines are also good. Canuck Motorsports are good if youre on a budget. No need to upgrade the front swaybar, but adding a rear one will help a lot to keep you level in corners.

Goldlines are not comparble to the SS or Pedders...not without spring rates anyways

Do you think Pedders on an LS would be a waste?

Nope...Pedders with SS shocks/struts would almost be the same as an SS.. the SS has a redesigned steering knuckle...though it would handle like a slot car...oh yeah , dont forget the rear sway bar...a must have, and some good tires.
If you did this you'd be regretting not having a motor to back it up with though.....
Rear bar..go with Progressive unless youre going to change the front bar too, I think its a 19mm..or get the kit to change both to the bigger bars....
