Mirror LED & Bluetooth Stays On

The green LED on the right side of the mirror stays on permanently (with the car shut off). Also, the Bluetooth communication stays on indefinitely. It used to be when you opened the door, you would lose Bluetooth and my phone would utter a small beep to advise of the loss.

Retained accessory power still shuts off normally after 15 minutes with the car off, or immediately if you open the door, but this does not affect the mirror LED or Bluetooth.

Ever since the dealer replaced my outside mirrors and had to "reprogram" the new mirrors, the car has acted this way. Any ideas?

Thanks for your help. Jacob

LED and Bluetooth

My '09 started doing the same thing about a week ago. Dealer had replaced my inside mirror because the vehicle was supposed to come with the autodim feature and didn't. All worked well for about 2 weeks after the replacement then this started. Same thing - led on right side of mirror never shuts off and my bluetooth won't disconnect.

Unhappy Update

Went out this morning and the battery was completly dead. I'm charging it now - I will try to get it to the dealer this week.

Bud.
I would be interested to hear what solution is found (if any) by your dealer. I believe that this sort of small battery drain in time, will kill your battery. The C6 Corvette had a similar small but constant drain, due to the car looking for a keyless fob. After two weeks, the battery was flattened. A software update eventually made it better, but didn't eliminate it entirely. I now have a trickle charger on the Z06.

Sorry I never got back to you. I finally got back into the dealer. They reprogramed the computer and all has been okay ever since. It appears as though everything that plugs into the harness on this thing has to be programmed. It's been a few months now and I have had no more problems.
