Mobil 1 Oil Filter

Can Anyone Give The Mobil 1 Oil Filter # For Mu 06 Hhr 2.2. The 2007 Mobil 1 Filter Guide At Walmart Doesnt List The Hhr Or The Cobalt.

Am Using Mobil 1 5w-30 No Problems But Have Been Researching Amsoil Amsoil Test Results Are Better. But Is $10.00 +-/gal Worth It For A Non-modified Hhr And Normal Operating Conditions In South Central Kansas Weather.

Can't help you with the M1 filter.

BTW, Amsoil is not on GMs approved oils list.

The HHR requires GM6094M oil. AMSOIL is rated as a GM6094M oil. What makes it on the "not GM approved list?"

Amsoil may be rated GM6094M, but Amsoil has never submitted their oil for verification testing so GM has not put it on their official approved oil list.

Here's the list:

According to who? Isn't GM6094M a General Motors spec.? If so, how can Amsoil be rated as a GM6094M oil if it isn't on the list?

Not sure if M1 even makes a filter for our engines...can't remember ever seeing a M1 cartridge filter but then again maybe I have not looked enough. K&N makes one but have never seen it in a shop

as of about a month ago M1 does NOT make any cartridge style filters, I try to call them every few months and last time they said they have nothing in the works that they know of. So for now your best bet is probably the K&N HP7000.

What data does anyone have which suggests the K&N is any better than the OE AC Delco oil filter?
