Anyway, for the 4th time since I took ownership 7 months ago, I've gotten an "Engine power reduced" code. This happened while I was sitting at work waiting to start the day. Unknow the codes, but since its under warranty I had them do a warranty tow to the dealership and am getting an Enterprise rental.

Since I have not been able to get codes pulled before sending it in, I have no idea of the "cause", so when I hear more, you will all know of another possible potential cause foran engine power reduced code.

its because you have the 2.2l it has no power to start with i feel your pain. since i have it too. but i chose it simply for the 50 mile roundtrip to work and back each day. and dont shoot me but im rare and dont like the body styling of the SS.

 

You're not feeding it the proper Coffee to Doughnut ratio, hence the reduced power.

yep i have the auto as in auto no power... thats what my wifes G8 is for there is no zoom zooom only Vrooom squeal half way around the block and vrooom again swallowing everything in its path along with a full tank of gas.
