My HHR has a rough idle/misfire
Most of them are just for the O2 sensors, which I have to replace, one for the exhaust, but I think the solenoid just went out. Right now I think it’s the fuel injector is causing it to stall out because I have to floor it otherwise it will not start in the morning after it sits. I think the one fuel injector is leaking and it’s making the engine run really rich. I was looking at the fuel trim and the fuel trim is really lean.
"Just O2 sensor"???? You do know what they are for? #1 adjusts the A/F, #2 monitors the catalyst.
The valves are on rollers, the don't tick. Cold start clicking that goes away after warm up is the chain.
Ticking is more likely the injectors, not un usual.
#2 is awful high compression comparatively. They should be within 10-20% of each other.

If the car suffered from deferred oil changes in the past, it could have some sticky rings that would explain the wildly divergent compression test results. But that would also cause some oil consumption. Is the car burning any oil?

these O2 sensor codes haven’t come back in a while though, so I don’t know why they got triggered.
I just changed the injectors because he put the wrong ones in and that fixed my fuel economy. I also changed the MAF because I had a code for that and it was the original one anyway I did put a new MAP sensor in it but I think that one already failed so I put the old one back in it for now. I also did my VVT solenoid, the spark plugs, genuine AC Delco, coil pack. And it’s still only chugs at an idle and it will stall out.
