TSB #08-03-16-001B tells them how to do it. I had to have a loud discussion with the service manager. Nether the mgr nor the tech was capable of reading the TSB for themselves, much less finding it.

"TSB? What's a TSB? Ain't my job to read a TSB, ain't my job to look up a TSB, Did you get that from the internet?." Word for word quote from the service adviser.

 

Thanks . I'll try to print that out and bring it. It's a pretty big dealer with Chevy. Gmc, Buick ,Caddy. They said my HHR Panel was only the second one they had worked on. The desk guy came out with his Tech 2 ,said it was the God for cars. It fixed the TPMS and front doors but not the side ones. Finally said it had to go inside to a real mechanic with a laptop to fix the rear side ones.
