I bought my ss from a private party and didn't get any fobs with the car they had lost them. I got two new ones and got them programmed today. The lock and unlock work. But the remote start will not work unless I'm inside the car which is why you would wont the remote start not to have to go out and start it. Anyone have the same problem or know what the problem could be

 

dealer programme issue, go back to get them checked could be different fob than you ride requires

 

All doors must be locked with te key fob in order for the remote start to work.

 

Make sure that you read & follow the directions on the back of the fob. i.e. You must push lock first even if it's already locked. Other than that check the battery status.

 

Well it started working the next morning and have not had a problem with it since. Im not sure what was wrong before
