No AC, Power Steering, Wipers, etc.

Hi, all. This is on a 2010 HHR.

I did an aftermarket stereo installation and I guess I hooked the acc power line into the wrong thing (used one of the lines for the AC knob). Long story short, I ended up blowing the HVAC fuse a few times and eventually the AC stopped getting power and the power steering, wipers, and cruise control buttons on the steering wheel stopped functioning. I also get "Service Airbag" in the dash readout. The interior lights, stop lights, and turn signals are working.

I've checked all the fuses that seem related (HVAC, Airbag, BCM) and they are all intact. Any thoughts?

Edit: I took it to the dealership and they're wanting to replace the AC control module, passenger airbag sensor, and steering column (without motor). Would this be correct? Or are they just throwing parts at it?

The EPS and the cruise and the steering wheel controls are on fuse #19 on the BCM. All of those go through the clockspring, did you have the steering wheel off.

Fuse #4 under the hood for the A/C.

No. The steering wheel hasn't been removed.

Recheck the fuses on the BCM and fuse #4 under the hood.

You are aware of the inside fuse box under the radio on the right side?

I went through all the fuses in the passenger area and checked #4 under the hood. All fuses seem to be intact.

Then I got nothing. Maybe you burned a wire while blowing fuses.
Do yourself a favor and check #19 on the BCM with a VOM.

Thanks for the responses. I don't have access to a VOM at the moment, but I did stick my 12V tester in it and got nothing. Is there a wiring diagram somewhere? I'll do a google search myself as well.

If you got nothing, why do you think it is good? Replace it.

What good would a wiring diagram do? Of which circuit?

Have a look in the AudioVideo section. https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/audio-video-17/

I'm sure I have posted several diagrams there.

I'm not sure what voltage should be there. My little tester doesn't detect <12v. So if it's a 6v circuit, it wouldn't register.

Found the wiring diagram. Replaced fuse 62 (I/P IGN, 20A) and the issue is resolved. Can't beat a good diagram. @Donbrew your advise to check if the fuses were getting power helped steer me to the resolution. You're the man. Thanks for all your help.
