no throttle body left in the usa.

Hi I'm new here. Just bought a 07 and unfortunatly it's allready been in an accident. As bad as that is after the body shop got it put back together it had a poor idle so they sent it to the dealership. Once there they proceeded to replace an electric box that apperently controls the idle. After waiting almost a week for this part they said it still will not idle properly. Now they claim it's in the throttle body but the thing is there is only one in the whole country and it's for some one else. As meny as these there are it's hard to beleive. So just cross your fingers you don't have this same problem.

Thanks,
Mike J.

Unless they are giving you a loaner, I would tell them to pull one off one on the lot.

I probably would tell them that anyway. I had to do that back in 1983 for my Cougar my mother had. Bad intake setup. It took a fews calls, but they finally pulled one off a new one on the lot. Theirs had to wait for the new part.

I'm guessing "they" is the service department? Call GM and tell them.

I remember this kind of issue with another part, with another member, I don`t think they would take parts from a "LOT" veh. for them.
I could be wrong, good luck either way.
