Noise?

Can someone help me out with this noise? It is a 2011 HHR LS. No Check engine lights only doing it when it idles.

Since that link is either bad or the recording is the answer is : no.

My guess is the flex pipe.

Yeah sounds like an exhaust leak, like donbrew and firemangeorge said, check the flex pipe.

You need to use the symbol that looks like a chain to attach the video.

First of all you do not say How Many miles on the HHR.

Without listening to the noise, I was thinking it could be your air cleaner cover rattling on the mounting point or something else associated.

That's what mine did when my Chevrolet Dealer serviced the engine air cleaner and destroyed the mounting grommets. They just went ahead and reinstalled the cover and even broke the mounting bracket in the process. It made a terrible rattle at idle only.
I would remove the cover and just see if it is involved.

Just a thought.....

With youtube you only need to paste the url into the post. Either by copying the address in the address bar or by Right click on the vid and choosing "copy video url" Then pasting.
