Oil change?

I am leaving for two months and my car will be siiting. Right now it's do for an oil change. Should I change it now or when I return, or does it matter Any help is appreciated.

I would change it now. Your oil will brake down after a while even if it sits and is not getting used. It will also be better for your engine when you get back and start it up for the first time.

Totally agree, change it now the acid and dirt in that engine will settle and needs to be out of there. Do your HHR a favor, give it a new transfussion.
The new oil won't hurt it to sit a little while. Also the oil has broken down some and needs to be fresh oil in those bearings if it is going to sit.

Another option: just leave it here Kenny!

You KNOW it won't just sit!

(Who knows...it might just have a new mod on it when you get back!)

Also, if know one will be running it, I'd suggest you disconnect the battery. The computer does have power to it and will run the battery down in that length of time. At least the old computer cars would, unhook it, if there is a small spark, leave it unhooked til you return, or as SoCal offered, I'd leave mine with him, with hints inside ...LOL.
