Does anyone have expensive stereo equipment in their HHRs and live near me? I could use the extra money this time of year

Thanks CM! This is awesome

I guess my question is how long does a dealer honor the TSB's? I have an 07 but almost 50K miles on it so my 3/36k is long gone.

My main interest is the windnoise from the mirrors..do you think they will still honor the TSB even though i ahve so many miles? I mean the TSB just came out so I would think so.

On the other hand this almost looks like a job I might be able to do myself? Doesn't seem too complicated and looks like I can get the foamy tape also..hmmmm

Advice?

A TSB is not a recall, just information for a technician. Therefore it would only be covered under the terms of the warranty be it the 3/36 or the power train warranty, whichever may apply.

So in others words because I'm at 50K I'm probably SOL. That seems sorta lame since it is an issue they know about but just released the TSB? A lot of 06 owners just got hosed then.

Any chance of me getting the items needed from Kent or do you think they will only sell to a dealer/repair shop etc?

Anyone can purchase products from Kent. They are a preferred vendor for GM and that is why they are listed in the TSB. Their site should be under Kent Automotive. These products can be bought elsewhere too.

Thanks for posting this, ChevyMgr!

2 questions:
1. Do you know of a location on the web where the full text is available?
2. Is there a separate TSB for models with manual transmissions?
