p0010
I have a 2009 HHR with a 2.2 L engine. Engine light on and have access to a handheld test unit. P0010 code with bank 1 open.....replaced cam position. Light still on....used a code reader to clear....came on within 5 minutes. Reset and drove down the interstate for 40 miles no problem. Soon after getting off interstate the code reappears. Reset again and it comes on in 5 minutes or less. Seems something with stop and go situations or idling......any help would be greatly appreciated.

P0010 is a code for the cam shaft actuator. Did you replace the actuator or did you replace the cam shaft sensor? Which is a mistake that happens often. Here is a thread for cam shaft actuators.

I think he means actuator, but original post was not clear.
crmedlin : which one did you replace? or did you replace both of them? Were they after-market or genuine GM ones?
Have you checked your oil level lately? and how long since your last oil change?
