P0010 cel..fixed!!

noticed poor idle and sputtering recently. i have 2010 hhr with 129k miles. came on here, used my OB2 scanner and got code P0010. came online ordered the new solenoids, 37.00 and some change each on amazon. put them in today, hhr running like new again, acceleration is much smoother. thanks everyone for all the DIY pictures and instructions on here. saved me alot of money, sorry to start a new thread, but couldn't respond to older ones because they are closed.

Is closed because 54 + pages of thank you posts is kind of redundant on a "HOW-TO" that does not ask for a response. I'm sure that whopper would be delighted to be thanked via PM instead.

And if like our local dealer, they pretty much insist on running "diagnostics" beforehand - and that costs like an extra $80-90!!! Dang.

Yeah whopper every dealer does that I think; it is BS but ensures that the technicians arent wasting their time.

It is interesting that they want to charge and try to diagnose everything thru the OBD II port, even my missing coolant problem a few years ago, turned out to be a head gasket and upon my instance they visually check the head a crack , I don't know how the computer woulda saw that one?
