P0014 code and "fix" NEED HELP!
I had been getting the check engine light off and on a couple of times and the car wasn't acting weird. I had the local Autozone check the codes and it pulled up the P0014 code. A little searching on here and found it to be the Camshaft Position Solenoid so I replaced both the intake and exhaust making sure I had the correct parts and they were in the correct place (grey in front, black in back). I put the car back together and reconnected the battery, and the car started making a clicking noise that will increase with throttle. I drove it around a little bit and it drove better minus the ticking/clicking noise. The check engine light went away for a few hours and has now returned. Anyone have any idea what might have gone wrong?

First off you need to download the current CEL code. Assuming that the current code is the same as the p0014 previously can lead one on a wild goose chase.
However you can check a couple of things right off the bat:
- are you sure the MAF sensor on the intake tube was properly plugged back in?
- check the oil level - low oil or OLD oil can also cause a p001x code

Per this

Check the wire harness to the solenoids and it could be a faulty new solenoid!
Did you use GM solenoids or inferior aftermarket pieces?

I just got the oil changed and it's still knocking. Its not as bad but still there, and I have slight hesitation on the gas as well. Not all the time thou. I'm thinking lifter but I don't know. I'm good with old cars, not computer controled ones.
