P1174

I did a search an no one has come up with a solution. My car is throwing this code intermittently. Came on for a day, went away later that night, threw it a few days later(today) and still on.

Fuel balance.

Any ideas yet?

Definitivelly is a bad injector. I had struggling about 6 month with this code. I changed spark plugs, added tons of fuel additives, swaped coils...nothing. I just replaced the 2nd and 3rd injectors, and this rid the code.

Dirty injector will throw the same code and this TSB states to replace all injectors and reprogram ECM.

I haven't noticed any lean pop under hard acceleration yet.

Well it's been almost a month since this happened, and after finishing off that particular tank of gas (walmart), running some proven cleaner through it, and filling back up with shell gasoline...no code.

Came back today, for the first time since December. It threw the P1174, and a misfire code on cylinder 2. Looks like injector two may be failing. It is smoking a little on cold start up as well, white smoke that smells like pure gasoline. Going through a rough couple of weeks here lately.
