Plastic covers for entry remote

Hi. First time poster, long time reader.

Anyways, any clue where to get a replacement case for the keyless entry remotes?

To be honest you would be better off just getting a whole new remote. The reason being is I highly doubt that you can get a case by itself.

So here is the thing. Buy a new one. Typically you can find a set of 2 of them for pretty cheap and then go to your dealer and pay roughly 30-40 dollars for them to program it for your car.

Also make sure you buy the exact type of remote. For instance there is the 4 button style. This one is for the remote start, door lock, door unlock, and panic button. The three button most commonly on LS models is for lock, unlock, and panic.

Welcome...

Then there is the 6 button remote for the HHR 2LT Panel, like mine.

1) remote start
2) lock
3) unlock
4) Left rear door popper
5) R door popper
6) Panic button

If it is just Lock and unlock and panic buttons, I have one. The innards shot crap and I can't seem to throw anything away. PM me you address and I will get this sent out to you.

Leftovers

I also may have a couple of spare cases without remote start, which are for the manual transmission. I got pink ones for girlfriend, and the vendor sent complete remote modules with black covers and added the pink covers to the order. After switching them out, I had two new black covers left over (if I can still find them). As about 90% of HHRs are automatic, please specify what you have and how many buttons are on your remote.

Ask a service advisor at a dealership if he/she has any old cases from bad fobs. All of mine have old fobs in their desk drawers. I have 5 or 6 myself.

You can check out the ad at the bottom of the page. In case it has changed I saved a link.

http://www.originalkeyless.com/main.sc

I go to my local locksmith to buy mine and get them programmed.

tcstoy, thanks for the offer but my remote has the remote start button as well. I think a trip to the dealership is in order if the banner's website doesn't have what is needed.

Thanks again,

Cheeko
