There is adjustment available for the cables. One cable is for left-to-right alignment. The other is for front-to-back alignment.

ATF does not evaporate and does not need topping off. It has to leak onto the ground from somewhere. Axle seals or input shaft seal or leaking drain/level control.

This should fix all your issues, if the cables don’t fix it!

The transmission isn't leaking so I have a feeling the first owners never replaced or added fluid, but we shall see, I'm eyeing that transmission, it's also the newer model so it would be a solid solution

New cables didn't fix it, Made First to second shift really good and reverse. 3rd and 4th grind and 5th just isn't there for some reason. The cables are adjusted correctly, and everything is mounted correctly.

I got it to go into third once with double clutching.

🤷‍♂️ I bought the transmission so that will fix it.

Most likely the lack of fluid just burnt out the synchros.

Or, the clutch is not disengaging completely.

I'm still trying to figure out how someone could drain the fluid then forget to refill it.
If the motor is off, can you shift all gears?
There have been a few instances of metal fatigue around the clutch pedal mounting to the point of not completely disengaging.
