Poor Paint
A factor that people may not take into account is following distance. The closer you follow the car in front of you, the more debris from that car will impact yours. This obviously doesn't affect the sides or the infamous rear fender sandblasting. It cannot be a design defect if you are getting chips and dings on your bumper or hood or even roof since those can only be caused by debris kicked up by a vehicle in front of you. NO paint job can survive constant debris bombardment. If you are encountering lots of chips and dings on the front of your car, maybe you should look at modifying your driving style, i.e. back off a bit...
You still do not expect a car after only 1,000 miles in a small town environment where speed limits are very low to receive the kind of rock chips that I had received. I can look over my other car driven the exact same way that is 6 years old and not find anywhere near the rock chips. Maybe modifying my driving style means I should have to leave it parked.
Yeah, ok. Why don't you go review the threads and your posts. These are just the remarks you've made to me. And after searching through your posts I can see that most of them have been negative against anyone stating anything bad about the HHR, Chevy, or GM.
