Rear Axle Brake Lines

Sprung a leak the other day on my rear driver side. Determined its coming from the rear axle line going into the wheel hub... Cant find replacements anywhere online, so I was just gonna bend my own... What size line is that and what is the flare? Thanks in advance... It's a 2006 HHR LT

Ya... I don't need all of the lines though, just the short ones at the rear. And I don't have $171 to spend on things I don't need right now. Or two plus weeks to wait for them to ship....

You can google hhr rear brake lines and see them on Amazon or call inline and talk to them about the specific line you need, or measure the diameter and length and bend your own

Yes, in my original post I stated that I was planning on bending my own... I was just asking about the diameter of the line and the type of flare so I know what to get. I have googled this and some say it's 3/16" and some say it's 1/4". I would measure what's on the vehicle, but they're so rusted and crusty, I'm not able to get a good measurement. Figured I'd try asking here....

The reason no one will know the size or flare is because 99% of the owners probably buy pre-formed brake lines.

Also, where is a good jack point I can use in the rear to get the car high enough to remove the back tire to get at the line to remove it? The pinch weld spot on the side near the tire is rusted and too brittle to put the jack there...

With all that rust is it even worth trying to fix ?

The lift points are shown in the owners manual. Don’t have one ? They are available on this site.

Yes, it is worth it to me... I only drive this car to and from work

Can you link to where in the owners manual this is? I've flipped thru the whole thing and don't see anything other than the pinch welds on the side...

I’m not able to measure mine, anybody else know the diameter of the brake lines in the rear? My research says 10mm or 3/8ths

I use my floor jack and lift at the axle pivot pad with the 3 bolts
