I searched and could not find an answer to this. I took the two screws out of the arm rest but the control panel won't come out. I did see there is a tab holding it in towards the drivers elbow side. Do I have to remove the door panel or can I unlock the tab(s) in some way without doing so. Thanks!

 

You do have to mess with the tabs. There is a thread somewhere about it. If I get a chance I'll try the search for it.

 

The trick was to search for "mirror switch".
