And now, headlight circuit is messed up..

So after getting the car back the drivers side headlight will not turn on for it's "headlight" function but will illuminate when the car is unlocked with the remote... thoughts??

Most likely just a bulb. High beams work unlocking the doors but regular low beam is out.

x2 - what Prod said. Throw in a new bulb, or swap bulbs (but that is likely too much of a pain) to troubleshoot it.

OH right...I wasn't thinking. Yeah I had slightly brighter ones put in so the high-low thing never occurred to me. The highs work..just a shame because those bulbs were put in a little over a year ago, and they were a few bucks.

Yeah, I've never had good luck at all with the trick hi-power ones, except back in the H4 days. So I've gone back to the regular power ones.

When I had to replace my bulbs I was wanting to get the Silverstars. Then I looked at the back of the package and it showed a life expectancy table of all the bulb models. The plain jane basic models were shown to have a lot longer life. Knowing how much hassle changing our bulbs is I opted for the basic ones. I have never felt that my lights were not bright enough so it was an easy decision.
