Replaced wheel hubs, still have loud noise above 35 mph

I have a 2008 HHR LT 2.2 w/88,000 miles. I replaced both wheelhub assemblies and noise improved but has not gone away. I read previous posts but did not get anything other than hubs.

Insight, suggestions, information welcome.

Did you check the rear hubs? Check to see if your calipers are shot or rubbing, or maybe axle shafts. Just throwing ideas your way.

Recheck your mounting bolt and axle nut torque if still making noise check the rear hubs

Thanks. Brakes relatively new. Will try rear hubs.

I personally had this issue. But I found it to be the old tires that where worn down to about 10% of the tread. I replaced them with Toyos and the sound ceased to exist!
