Seat belt plastic button

Just wanted to pass this info on. This is a replacement button that snaps together if yours breaks by getting caught in the door jamb. I used channel lock pliers to squeeze the two parts together.

God bless you Cat Man HHR!!! hahahahah - every single time I get in my car I'm fishing for the seat belt buckle, thinking "some day i'll have to figure out how to replace that silly button that's missing."

You can buy them on EBay for about 97 cents each with free shipping from China. But it will take about 2 weeks to get them.

Now when somebody makes a retractor that actually retracts, it won't break again.

I don't mind the wait. Are the imports the same as the dorman product?

aaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahaha it WORKS it WORKS!! I bought TWO pair for a whopping $1.69 and waited a couple weeks for shipping from China. Now that buckle is waiting graciously for me where I can easily grab it. It's probably not the "Dorman" product, but hey - it's two wee pieces of plastic that you squeeze together (and Dorman's most likely came from China too, right?). If they fail, I'll make sure to update this thread!

Thanks again, Cat Man, for helping me fix a daily issue for under $2 -- God Bless you AGAIN!!!
