I'm having the door lock switch on my driver's side door replaced, as it doesn't illuminate. On to the thread subject:

Should the left/right switch for the power mirrors that directs the control lever light up? I know the control lever for the mirrors itself lights up, but the little switch under it is what I am referring to. It is the one you can only direct to the left or right.

 

That rocker switch in my '08 LS isn't illuminated
