5'8" - I stand on the running boards to wash the roof.

My pantleg always wiped the dirt/dust off the SS flare when I got out of the car.
That looked tacky, you can't stand on them and I like the running boards looks better.

ohnomobile knew I was looling for a pair of running boards and gave me a heads-up when there was a cheap pair on epay.

~$120 shipped with brackets & all the hardware.

Like stated the boards or side skirts both do the same job. The Skirts look better but beware you need a long leg to step over them or you will booger up the paint.

I have the SS Skirts and I put the GM 3M film on my quarter panels and the paint is fine. I also have the factory mud guards trimmed to the SS panels too. After two harsh winters all is fine so far.

I've been looking and looking for the side skirts ,the steps will be added discompfort for getting in and out of the hhr.I'm prosthetic above knee amputee .I want the look as well as protection from the road but need the clearance to step in and outwhere can I find them? I don't like the looks of duraflex or razzi the stock on the SS is the look I like.
