Speedometer problems

So I have a 2009 with about 190,000 miles on it, last night the speedometer started fluttering, it seems to do it at around 40-50mph and once I start braking (at around 20mph) it stops fluttering back and forth. The car also feels like it’s slightly lungeing forward while I’m driving ,nothing too extreme but just enough that I can feel it. I have no idea where to even begin with a problem like this so any help is much appreciated!

Start with having someone read fault codes.

Welcome to the site, while you’re at the parts palace, for the codes , have them load test your battery and check the charging system

Check for codes first. The VSS, or vehicle speed sensor is on the trans. It could be anything though. Wiring there or in the dash...
