Squirrel/ wiring problems

So I had a squirrel get under my hood and the dog chasing the squirrel followed, needless to say the car has many wires hanging out of the factory lume with many I can not find what they mate too. Seems most of the damage is in the lower harness on the motor and I have about 6 wires thet I can't seem to figure out where they go. Any one have a diagram that would cover the engine area or recomend a manual with good schematics. I have looked for new replacement harrness but seems they have been discontinuied.

Sorry guys, 2006 HHR, 2.4L, 2LT, Auto

Yeah, me too. I had one chew wires in my 2008 Sierra. That was summer of 2019. $550 to fix it so it would start again. It was never right after that. Intermittent starting and battery issues. I got fed up and traded it a couple of months ago.

If asking for a diagram, you need to post the year, model, engine size and if auto or 5 speed. There are differences.

I would suggest hitting up a wrecking yard and salvage a complete harness. Our member Hellshotrod has yard full of HHR's and could probably send you one.
Try PM'ing him.

Well, sorry for the long delay but I was able to get a motor wiring harness from a local pick a part for 18$, what a deal. Now that I have been driving it, it has developed a rattle in the front end and seems to have a lot of raod noise that I thought might be a bearing on the way out, I finally got to check this out and found the following. All front bearings seem to be okay, no grinding and nothing loose. I found the left axle boot has split but still has grease in it and the right side seems to be loose as a goose so too speak( up next too the trans) as I can move it up and down quite a bit which doesn't seem normal and it sounds like my rattle noise when I shake it around. Never ending repairs!
