2006 sunroof actuator motor

You guys are awesome!! thanks for your prompt replies. Yeah, seems crazy but the part # 22756140 is the part that is in my HHR. And yes it says that it is for the other previous mentioned vehicles. Oddly enough another GM parts supplier (newautoparts.com) shows on their expanded GM parts pictures, that my installed part is the correct one. As for the other part, the pictures are completely different, and I can't seem to get a very good view of the part for plug and module comparison. Talk about confusing. My question now is, if I order the "correct part #22753214" as you mentioned, will the plugs interchange? Is the control module part of the actuator motor, as is the current installed part? As you all know on electrical components, in most cases they are not refundable, so I'm trying to get it correct when I order. Sorry for all the questions and thank you for your patience Sonny

22743214 is the part number, like donbrew stated. The number you are using turns up nothing.

There appears to be a pigtail adapter in one of the pictures on eBay that may be the difference.

This pic from the amazon listing looks like the connector you showed, donbrew.

Much like a failing garage door, I think the sunroof has a force mode where you can force it closed by just holding a button down (I do not know which one). Mine mysteriously did this a couple months ago, and I got it to close by holding all the buttons down. When coming forward it sounded like something was catching or dragging, I suspect a broken part or maybe it was off track, but I have not attempted to operate it since. Vent function works fine. Also, Since that day it vents open wider than it used to. Odd.

2006 HHR Sunroof Acuator and Water Leak

Just wanted to do a followup with the faulty sunroof. The problem was solved by replacing the sunroof acuator motor/control module unit. An additional note to those who may have an unsolved water leak problem, I accidently found the source of mine when I had the overhead removed for the sunroof repair. The problem was that both left and right rear sunroof channel drain tubes had disconnected from the rubber connectors attached to the sunroof frame. It appeared as if the drain lines had shrank in length about 1". I re-streched the lines and glued the tube inserts.
Want to give a big shout out to those folks who helped me trouble shoot and solve my issue. I say THANK YOU!!! keep up the good work guys. Thanks again, Sonny

That's great news, Sonny! Which part(number) did you end up using? Maybe a link?
