Temp. gauge not working

Temp. gauge not working

has never overheated, yesterday evening the temp. gauge has stopped working, does not show temp.??? checked the factory does not show a fuse for the gauge???

Thermostat? Does the digital display show "-- --" for the temp? If it is the thermostat sticking open, it will eventually throw a P0128 code and disable the A/C at the same time. And the condition will be intermittent.

it is showing code p 0128, my mech. wants $175.00 labor plus parts.

I have tried to find someone posted on changeing the thermostat but cannot find it???

Took my HHR to my mech. the temp. started working, mentioned about the temp. sensor he saud no-way, his mech. did some testing said it was the sensor, the part will be in an hour parts for the sensor and labor $100.00 6thanks to this forum, all the answers are here.
