Don't remember the codes, but all threads where these codes were mentioned didn't help at all. So, maybe my car in unique.

Anyway, going to the service again this Friday. It will be my 10th visit or something like that. The bad thing is that I can't get rid of this wonderful ride until it's fixed. But nobody can fix it. I'll keep you posted.

Hi 3apa3ho,

I am so sorry to hear of your issue and of how many times you have been into the dealer. I would like to research this for you. Can you private message me your full name, address, phone number, Vehicle Identification number, involved dealer and approximate mileage on your vehicle please?

That was unexpected - the last service (4th) I was in had fixed this car on yearly basis since 2009 (the car is 2008). Same story every year - connectors get dirty and start rusting. They said that all GM vehicles from 2004 to 2012 are not really a good choice if you live in a climate like this - it can be 90 degrees in Summer and -20 during Winter with quite huge temperature changes in 24h (60 degrees or so). And we also have high humidity here. Don't know for how long the car will work perfectly (no issues in 3 days), but I don't want to go through that 200 Dollar procedure often.

I don't think this is my last American car. Even though European cars are built waaay better and Japanese are just very reliable, but boring - I prefer American cars here since they are extremely rare and their suspension is quite good if you have bad roads. If I miss one hole - nothing happens, but if Audi does - you can spend hundreds (sometimes - thousands) of Dollars on repairs.

Had no issues with my Dodge Charger in 3 years, even though the mileage was 80 000 which is twice as much as my HHR has. My old Chevrolet Alero let me down only once in 4 years. So, looks like I got a bit unlucky with HHR. Still like it though - just wish it had better wiring.

Hopefully This Helps

Hello 3apa3ho,

Have you contacted the customer service center in your region? I've taken the liberty to attach the link for their website here http://www.chevrolet.ee/abi/. Due to your location I cannot be of much assistance to you from the US region. Hopefully, this will help you resolve your issue with your HHR.

Hi Marlea,

What's the point? Just to tell that one of their services employees a bunch of people with no skills? One of the services, as I mentioned, fixed the issue. And will be fixing it on yearly basis...

No need to be rude. She is obviously trying to help.

Your local climate is not unique with the swings in temperature, and high humidity - much of North America has similar issues.

Sorry, didn't want to look rude.

Obviously this car has really cheap wiring. Is there a "better" version of the whole wiring? I mean they offered me to replace it for ~1000 EUR (that's a lot) and if new one is just as great as the original - that's an issue...

So, my problems are back after ~2 weeks. So, another 200 USD paid for nothing.

Tried contacting Chevrolet Europe via email and got a "Mail Delivery System" error. Can someone from Chevrolet can tell me if there is another email I can use other than stated on the website?

Thank you.

Huh ?
Looking for help ?
Asking for a diavram ? (Diagram I'm guessing.)

Maybe start a new thread instead of tacking on to one that died 8 years ago.
