Well, Last Wednesday (12/10/08), they replaced the RR sensor to see if that was the cause of my problem. As of today (12/15/08), the problem has NOT come back, yet!!! We'll see if the problem is indeed solved or not, only time will tell.

 

well this is what I am doing.. preventive measures: I had the tire re-sealed....

 

I seem to be having the same problem with my monitor, except I want to know where are these sensors located. Because my FR -- it appears like if it's not reading the pressure, strange and the tire light won't go off. Any ideas? thanks a lot :)

 

where is the sensor located in the car or in the wheel? thanks a lot. How much was the sensor.

 

There is a pressure sensor in each wheel. The monitoring unit is located in the car. Where in the car, I do not know.

 

I believe the sensor AND the sendor/transmitter is in the wheel. The receiver is in the vehicle, which provides information to the display.

 

The RCDLR is located behind the headliner above by the mirror. It controls the signals for TPS and all key fob functions.
