Total loss of gauges....
I own a 2008 2LT W/2.4L and it has 12750 Mi. Last Friday morning I was headed to work and happened to notice as I was sitting at the light , the battery light and tire pressue light was on, so I checked the DIC and the tires were reading 32PSI! Thought that was weird, then, I noticed the speedo was reading 15 MPH, awlful strange I thought, a quick check of the dash reveiled that the tach was reading 2000RPM at idle, the fuel was reading 1/2 a tank when it should have read 1/8 of a tank and the temp was hard to tell if it was woking or not. I thought maybe I had left something on overnight and this was a low battery or something, so I decided to make a run to work with it thinking that if it was low, this would charge it up... it stayed that way all the way to work, (40 mi/1hr to work) got to work shut her off, and nothing changed! opened the door got out, shut the door and the lights went out!! Real confused now,,,, I got back in and turned the key to the "on" position all the idiot lights came on (like their suposed to) and all the gauges went to zero, I started it up and and the tach was working ok but nothing else, so I cycled through the start and shut off about a half a dozen times and it seemed to correct it............. Anyone else ever have this problem? Or do I just have a "Chucky" Car???? Thanks Joe

Or you have a bad connection at the cluster, the fuse box or somewhere between. Or you have a cluster going out. Or you have a BCM problem. See how simple these vehicles can be. Tech won't be able to diagnose it unless the problem occurs while they are checking it.

Yep Thats basically what my dealer said if it happened again bring it in while it was at fault, I can't say it was real cold or anything like that, cold around here is 45 deg overnight!! LOL Sorry guys back east! But that's cold for beach weather on the left coast..
