traction light when cold

2010 When it gets colder 25-30 degrees outside my traction control light comes on n the morning when I first start the car. After warming up and shutting off and re starting the light has gone out.

Moved to new thread.
First, check the brake fluid level. If it is low you need to look at the front brake pads.

Thanks very much donbrew will do that. Also thought it interesting that two different mechanics told me yesterday if my spare tire in the car (which has been there since 2010 and not used) was low on air that it still had a sensor that would throw out to the dash board. Thought that to be really strange. Anyway thank you.

The spare tire doesn’t have a TPMS sensor, those guys aren’t even close to the problem.

No sensor in spare, if it is a donut. I(f ot is a full-size there is a chance there is a sensor in it but, there is no slot in memory for a 5th wheel.
AND, WTF does Tire pressure have to do with TC other than it affects wheel speed and why would the spare have a wheel speed sensor?.
Those bozos probably think you have a PT Cruiser, their TPMS is based on the wheel speed but, why care if the spare is spinning or not?
TPMS not the same as ESC/TC.
