As indicated in the post threat yes the fluid level was fine. truly appreciate your input but by doing what I do whether it is the same thing that resets the oil life or not works to also reset the TC and it stays off afterwards .

But you said it was in the Owner Manual. We don't want anybody in the future thinking it is.

Could you post up page #’s like that ?
Sorry about that oversight. I guess the page numbers are only on the PDF, and prolly even vary with the reader. Will go back and fix. Might take a minute. For anyone who can’t wait, I got to the first page with the table of contents, and just followed the provided breadcrumbs.

EDIT - Corrections made. Here are a few pages, for convenience.

It’s a simple expression of good will, much needed these days. Or it’s a hypocritical eff you. Much hypocrisy these days. Which it is may not be obvious.

Page number issue is being fixed. The manual does state to simply turn off the ignition to reset a persistent ESC warning. It also states that some cars with ETS have no such button.

omg, asked a ? why does it keep coming on, stated what I did to have the light go off a simple ? that was never answered as to why it kept coming on in the cold with the fluid levels being fine. Ya all probably mean well and in the meantime we certainly don't want anyone in the future ever to refer to an owners manual to see how to reset the oil and then use the same procedure to reset the tc light!

You said it was resolved, that means it does not keep coming on. Otherwise it is turning the key on and off that resets it, not the oil life.
The most likely reason would be a bad connection to a wheel speed sensor or a bad wheel speed sensor. Maybe a loose wire at the EBCM. Maybe a loose wire at the VVT valves.
Get ABS and pending codes read while the warning is on.
