any tips tricks i can pass on to a shop.......they have replaced the lines and fittings but they still leak at the fittings.....they are hinting that the stud is stripped the holds the lines

Yes. Tell them to fix it correctly. Not sure what part is supposed to be stripped but a decent shop would replace parts that need be. You're paying for it. Tell them to do the job right.

That stud is long, they could slide a spacer then the nut.
Did they replace the seals at the transmission?
Apparently they did something wrong like not open the seal centre.

The stud in question goes thru the hole in the middle of the bracket,
A remove stud and replace, or
as I said put a small spacer on the stud an use the clean threads up the stud .
