Transmission Torque specs

Does anyone know the troque sequence for the bolts on the bottom of the transmission pan. I also need the Troque specs if you have them.

I hit somthing and bent the front. I think its now leaking at the rear of the pan, so I want to re-troque the pan. I found the filler port on the top of the trans to add fluid.

Thanks,
Jeff

Its 10 N.m or (89 inch lbs). They don't give an order for tightening the bolts.

Thank you. That sounds a bit high for a bolt with a 7mm head that goes into an aluminum case?

Just a heads up, that is 89 inch/pounds or 7 to 8 ft/pounds. Just being cautious.

If it still leaks after tightening @ 10Nm, you may want to change the pan and gasket. The gasket is a nylon compression type and may not re-seat exactly the same as before, and the pan could be slightly warped.
It's installed here in Windsor by a "multi" socketed machine.

I'm surprised it's that low. The plastic cap for the oil filter requires more torque than the transmission bolts.

The filler cap has a "pipe thread", and not often removed.
The case and channel plate are soft to accomodate our tooling and the use of "tap-tite" metric bolts.

Thanks all,
The gasket is $50.00 and the pan is $89.00. I will try to torque it this weekend.
