Check engine light and TC w slash lights on.
I'm' getting codes that the service department tells me don't exist for my '07 HHR Specifically P0055, C342D and C3064. I've found 2 vasrly different explanations of the P0055 and sont know shich way to turn.

 

Have you tried a different code reader? Or, has someone replaced a computer?
The TC light is caused by whatever the real code is.

Does anyone have wxperience with a bluetooth/laptop code reader?
As to the computer... I've only had the car for a week and don't have access to maintenance records.

 

The ELM327 BT readers work fine. The cheap ones (under $20) only read.

 

Okay,then.
So far I've replaced the warped brake rotors and smoothed out the stoppng experience. Replaced the intake and exhaust cam VVTs as per trouble codes which, strangely enough, cleared up ALL of the codes including the weird bank 1 sensor 3 error AND the Traction Control inhibited light and the hard shifting thing.
Now however, I get an Proper Bank 1 Sensor 1 O2 error code.
Progress I'm sure.

 

What do you use with the ELM327? Smart phone? Iphone? Ipad or laptop?

 

Did you adjust the rear drum brake shoes? That can cure a vibration similar to warped rotors

 

Yes those work just get a App like Torque Lite. Not sure about Apple stuff.
