It acted up like it had a weak connection i.e. it worked/didn't/worked/didn't and so forth till it died completely. Same thing happened to my headlights and temperature control. But after we metered they both came back on as if the circuit tester removed some rust or something. But that didn't work with the turn signal. No after market installations.

Try tightening the bolts in the under hood fuse box. They need to be very tight, past the "afraid its gonna strip" point. I am guessing that at some time the fuse box was removed. Check ALL of the fuses and relays in both fuse boxes make sure they are all fully seated.

Now that you mentioned it, we did remove the fuse box when we replaced the master cylinder (brakes). I'll check first thing tomorrow morning. Thanks so far, I'll take it from there.

If the bulb works with flashers, but not turn signal, the diagram I have (Haynes manual) seems to point to the BCM.

But the wires connect in the fuse box. And there were other electrical oddities.
You know how I am about the BCM.

Yes, I know. I just see one wire for each corner exiting the BCM, and each is shared by the turn signals and flasher. So I'm thinking by the time the wire gets to the underhood fuse block, if it was a bad wire somewhere after the BCM, neither turn signal nor flasher would work. I dunno...

Bolts are tight. Thanks for the diagram. I will open the fuse box and look at the wires, especially the dark blue one.

I would take the stalk apart and jump wires to make sure we are not chasing rabbits.

But if it were the stalk, wouldn't that affect both front and rear?
