Well obviously you missed something. Go back and check it again. If you have a drip, then it's gotta be coming from somewhere.
You didn't state the location of the leak. Front, back, left or right side. Kind of hard to tell you what to look for without some more detail.
George, are you struggling to quote other posts?

check your oil cap, sometimes a hair-line fracture in it can cause a leak...but keep checking im sure you will find the culprit :)

Did somebody else park in your spot?

Just where is this spot forming? Then look straight up....since you cannot find any telltale streaks, perhaps its not running down anything but falling directly to ground...like say if the turbo was leaking and not the engine.....

The drip point is at the bottom of the transmission, and I traced wet oil up as far as the top of the transmission, next to the block. I've checked the engine both hot, and cold (we're in sub zero temps right now, so the thing gets stone cold within 45 minutes, and no leaks...yet I'll move the car the next day and guess what...drops on the ground, and collected oil on the bottom of the transmission...it's making very little sense.

I'll recap everything that I've done today. The entire engine has been powerwashed, degreased, and every nook and cranny hit with parts cleaner. I'll be checking the underside of the car, and the block tomorrow.

Oh and to speak to the comment about the oil filler cap? the stock filler reservoir flew off at some point (talked about in a previous post) and I''ve replaced it with an after market direct cap. It seals tighter than the stock equipment ever did.

Also, it is worth noting, that if you have the stock airbox on this car, and need to remove it for any reason, it is worth your time to grease the pressure fittings. Mine dried out, and as a result, the front mounting point got ripped completely off the airbox, leaving a nice gaping hole in it. I attempted to fix it with a 24 hour set time adhesive, but I'm fairly sure I'm still not getting a complete seal, time for an aftermarket intake... But I've gone off on a tangent here.

I'll update tomorrow once I've had a chance to get the thing in the garage tomorrow.

If you don't have oil dye I have had good luck finding leaks with baby powder. With the engine clean use an air gun or just squeeze the bottle to blow the powder in the area you think it my be coming from. Then run the engine the power will show very small leaks. (Some times very small leaks are very hard to see, with the powder you should be able to follow the wet oil from where it pools to the spot where it's coming from) it sound strange but an old tech showed me this years ago and it works. Good luck!

Go to autozone and borrow this leak detecting kit. You will have to buy the dye for oil itself but that will be cheap. They will charge you for the kit but you will get every penny back for the kit when you return it. The dye will not be refunded however. I suggest paying in cash so that when you return it you get your money back right then.

You are 100% positive it's oil, not ATF? Top of trans, driver side is the AT vent/fill hole if it's missing fluid could drip. 2nd guess, are you using an oiled air filter, too much oil? Also I had a tiny leak where the ATF cooling lines go int the radiator.

Somebody topped off the brake fluid, then someone else put new pads on; resulting in brake fluid dripping out of reservoir?

My car isn't an automatic, so ATF is out of the question
