Problems/Service/RepairsIf you have a problem with your HHR, want a tip on repairing or performing a particular service to you HHR here is the place to post!
Last week I replaced my serpentine belt. While doing that, I found and repaired a leaking crankcase seal. Then I found the Motor Mount needed replaced. Did that. Now my car sounds worse than before.
I have read a lot about the front and rear transmission mounts. Which I am doing next. But no one says a word about the driver side upper transmission mount. From the pics I took, mine looks fried. Has anyone on here replaced this mount? Does it not make a difference?

I replaced the upper motor mount. I did a quick check of my front trans mount and it also looks like it needs replaced. And I might as well change the back trans mount while I'm at it even if I can't SEE that it needs replaced. But I didn't see anyone one here even mention the upper trans mount.
The motor mount has been bad for a while I believe. And now that its been changed my tires start wobbling at about 60 mph. Will the repairs stop that? I just had an alignment done. Will replacing these mounts affect anything else?

I'll guess that between the bad mounts and replacing some of them, you've now got an exhaust leak at the flex pipe. Check for a leak right near the exhaust manifold.
PS. Posting the year, model and mileage of the car helps us to know about the car you're asking for help with.
Yes. But the tire that started wobbling is not on the side I had to take off to get to the belt. I'm not as brave as some who say it wobbles at 60 then stops at 70. LoL. I back off when it starts wobbling.

Ok, you said tires, but it's only one. Back off the lug nuts and torque them. And inspect the tire for any lumps or other signs of damage, tread separation.
I will check it again. It did not look as if it was damaged at the flex pipe. But I know I have an exhaust insulator or hanger off somewhere because my tailpipe sits wonky on my bumper and causes a rattle when in idle. but that has been that way long before now.
Ill check the tire torque. I just got new tire pressure monitors and new front tires and alignment not long ago. I kinda wondered if the new mounts putting everything back up in proper location could throw things off.
