Water dripping on gas pedal

Today water started dripping on the gas pedal/my wife's foot in her 2008 SS. I'm assuming it's a clogged drain from the air conditioner condenser. Does anyone know where it's located?

The AC drain is on the passenger side. The location you're describing sounds like either a leaking windshield seal(if it's raining) or the heater core leaking.

But heater core water should be Orange DexCool, & would likely be warm, no ?
And heater core is on pass side as well.

Might be moderate temperature in California, possible that the car is running with no coolant, only water in it.

The heater hoses are on the driver side.

The AC drain "pan" does reach over to the drivers side. If the drain is clogged it's possible that enough water has collected in the pan to overflow.
There are several old threads about clearing the AC drain. Look for those if you need any help. Here's one: https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/prob...roblems-60819/
Any other questions, just ask.

Thanks for the pointers. I had entered every search I could think of, but it never occurred to me to include evaporator in the search.

I guess I know what I'm doing after we get back from picking up it's new friend, Mater. Wife's name for the new addition, it's a 60 Willy's Jeep pickup.

Finally got it up off the ground, found the little pipe sticking out of the firewall. Tried poking a piece of wire up with no luck so went up stairs and dragged the air compressor down, Hit that pipe with the tiniest blast of air and was almost completely drenched. Must have been a quart or more of water up there.

Anyway, thanks for all the help. Hopefully that stays open for more than a few days.
