Weird Fuel Leak

HHR newbie here, just picked up my 2010 a week ago, she needed brakes out of the gate but no issues there, changed the oil, drove it a couple days, filled her with fuel and now I'm getting raw gas smell, up on the ramps when I got home and sure enough it's leaking raw gas from a tube with nothing attached to it (vent?)
Any insight would be great before I start throwing parts at it, I'm assuming it's the vent solenoid, the leak is coming from the metal tube above the filler hose in the photo

It looks like the vapour line has been cut,
See the wet tube below the fuel filler pipe and that dry tube end above it

This is that tube it should be connected here at the evap canister, the other end goes forward to the evap purge valve under the hood

Check out the lines and see if you need to replace them

You did not mention a CEL? If that is the vapor line there should be one

Positive on the cel, but for some odd reason my code reader is showing an error, I want to say both of those lines were connected to the canister but will double check in the morning

The "dry tube" is where the fuel is actually leaking, everything else is wet because of it, didn't have a damn issue until I filled it up, pretty sure both tubes are attached to the canister but will double check in the morning

Confirmed both nylon tubes are in fact attached and routed to their perspective locations, still trying to figure out what the cut off tubes go to and why they're leaking

I’m guessing now, but is that the over flow fine from the fuel filler? It goes to the top of the fuel pump
That one on the left of this photo, this is the HHR fuel tank removed from the vehicle

The nylon one could very well be, it's the rusty upper metal one that's leaking and dripping down on everything, I took a short video but it won't let me post it

Ok so this might be a stupid question but I'm the attached pic is this line (with the yellow tab) supposed to have the gap or should it be butted up tight, it looks like there's a shoulder on the line opposite the flange with the clips, might be the culprit if it's supposed to be up tight against the shoulder of the smaller line, and if yes there's not supposed to be a gap how do I get it to push together tight?
