Weird issues with 2009 HHR

Hello Guys,

I am having a weird issue is not that constant but its concerning. Sometimes in the morning and sometimes in the afternoon when the HHR has been sitting there for more than an hour. I will turn it on and it hesitates a little when it trying to idle. I can see the RPM gauge going from 1.5 and a little lower than 1 it will do that for no more that 30 seconds and then it will idle fine. Also when I turn on the A/C it acts the same way but I am not sure if that is normal or not.

Also the gasoline gauge seems to sometimes lower itself a little than the day before and then as I travel say for 10 minutes the gauge moves up. Sometimes the computer will tell me I have 198 miles till empty then I will make a stop turn off the car and come back and turn it back on and now it reads I now have 233 miles till empty.

Am I experiencing a problem or is this normal?

Thanks

John

I've had lower than normal idle on occasion, seems pretty random here though. (more frequent with AC on, but I don't use AC a lot) This usually happens, not at startup, but after it's been running and I stop for a light.... only lasts a few seconds and returns to normal. More than likely it won't happen at the next light.... very random.

The miles left in the tank.. I don't rely on so never really paid attention to it.

What is that for?

Tube is to vent acid fumes. Make sure it is attached.

Vent to the outside...... because the battery is in the passenger compartment it's required.
