What the fashizzle?

Two days ago I'm driving along in my 2008 LT Panel and suddenly my door locks pop up to unlock. I push the lock button and about 5 seconds later they pop up again.

I get home, park in the driveway and while sitting in the car I press the fob to lock. A few seconds later the door locks pop up again. Then every few seconds they click like they are trying unlock again. It hasn't done it since. Wazupwidat?

Today I'm driving down the road and I notice that the compass thingie on my mirror says SW. That's cool except that I'm heading North! I get to a stop light, shut off the ignition and turn it back on. The compass now says N. I get home, park in the driveway and it still reads N but I'm pointed South. Any ideas?

There is a calibration process for the compass (in the manual), but I would try the reset he ^ suggested first, too. Cheaper, faster, and often works.

My brother's cobalt is doing the same thing but worse...locks and unlocks when ever it wants, wether it is running or parked. He can't leave his keys in it. Definitely a bad ground in his case

Thanks, I'll give it a try.

It wouldn't hurt to check the battery and charging system. Low voltage can make these computers do all sorts of odd things.
