Ticking sound on the passenger side lower side..doesnt increase with accel. Sounds like a sewing machine..what are the possibilities??

 

Welcome to the site, I moved this away from the dead thread, give it more a chance to get a response.

From your description of ticking on the passenger side, please elaborate inside the cabin or under the hood? It could be the HVAC fan or something else

 

Under the hood, near the pulleys.

 

One time after playing 20 questions it turned out that an RC Cola cap had found it's way into the alternator. Or, was it a Fanta Orange?
